Jonann Chiles, a former assistant attorney general in Arkansas, has been confirmed by the Senate to replace Robert Dieter on the LSC Board of Directors. Every attorney at Friday, Eldredge & Clark, the law firm where Chiles is currently a partner, participates in the pro bono program run by LSC grantee Central Arkansas Legal Services (CALS). According to CALS Executive Director Jean Carter, associates at the firm take on matters as referral attorneys, and the partners each contribute $350 annually.
