However, there was an across-the-board budget cut for all federal appropriations, meaning that LSC's final FY04 budget figure comes in at $335.4 million - down slightly from the final figure of $336.6 million in FY03, when the across-the-board cut was not as steep. The LSC budget breaks down as follows: basic field grants ($317,471,000), Technology Initiative Grant program ($2,977,000), management & administration ($13,300,000), Office of the Inspector General ($2,600,000), and U.S. Census funding readjustments to be divided among the 10 states most harmed by census poverty population shifts ($2.5 million).
