  • Organization: Montana Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence

MCADSV and Voices of Hope (Great Falls) have received a grant from the National Network of Libraries of Medicine (NN/LM) to create and maintain a Crisis Resource Center for mental health providers, sexual assault service providers, and domestic violence service providers.

Every other month, we will publish and distribute a New Articles List (the first list is below) that will provide a bibliography of key recent articles in subject areas that we believe will be of great interest to you and others who work in your field (substance abuse, depression, anxiety, etc.). This list will be available via email, our website (http://www.mcadsv.com), and through direct mail. Information about access to the full-text articles will be available upon request. This grant will also allow us to provide interlibrary loan and reference support to service providers. We plan to post important information on our website about trainings, technical assistance, "Best Practices" information, and updated listings of community resources throughout the state of Montana. In addition, you will be provided access to our resource library.

Our goal for this project is for providers to be able to offer more comprehensive services to clients without compromising their own time in searching for this information on an individual basis. This service also has the potential to save you a substantial amount of money, because we will subscribe to several journals that you may find useful in your work.

Many of the articles on the list are available online by clicking on the link. For those that are not, please let me know if you'd like access to the full text. If you have any questions about the resources and assistance we can offer, please feel free to contact me and I'll be happy to help. If you know of other service providers that could benefit from these resources, please contact me with their contact information. Also, if you would prefer not to receive the resource packet and New Articles Lists, please let me know.
