Unemployment Compensation--Eligibility

The Department of Labor has published a proposed rule that would implement the requirements of the Social Security Act and the Federal Unemployment Tax Act that limit a state's payment of unemployment compensation only to individuals who are able and available for work. This rule would apply to all state programs.
