Articles published in the May-June and July-August 2002 issues of Clearinghouse Review: Journal of Poverty Law and Policy address issues of race, poverty, and social justice. Given the recent disaster in the Gulf, which has disproportionately affected poor people and people of color, and the imminent reconstruction effort, the Shriver Center is now making these articles available free of charge with the hope that the ideas expressed herein may assist advocates serving evacuees and clients in the affected areas.
