An across-the-board one percent rescission on all discretionary funds passed as part of the FY 2006 Defense Appropriations spending bill has taken a bite out of LSC's FY 2006 appropriation. In light of the 0.28 percent rescission earlier imposed on the FY 2006 State, Justice, and Commerce spending bill, LSC's appropriation now stands at $326,577,984 -- roughly $3.5 million less than LSC received in FY 2005.
