Minimum Wage, Maximum Benefits

The federal minimum wage has been stuck at $5.15 an hour for nearly 10 years.  In real terms, it is now worth less today than in all but one of the last 50 years. Raj Nayak of the Brennan Center for Justice argues that, in the declining real value of the federal minimum wage, our nation is facing one of the most pressing social and economic challenges of our times.
